I have tried blogging many times on many different sites, and every attempt ends the same way: I get torn about what to post. I always want to post something meaningful, but I fear it becomes too close to "Dear Diary" moments, and most diary entries are things that aren't to be shared (which defeats the purpose of a blog, right?). On the other hand, I don't find myself entertaining enough (or confident enough) to just post witty quips that no one sees.
I decided that the one thing I will always enjoy writing about is what I have read.
I am writing these reviews to get my general opinion out about books. I keep most of my review informative in order to give potential readers an idea of the book. I DO NOT put spoilers in my reviews, because I don't want to ruin the story for anyone. Also, since every person's opinions about books are different, I fully support people who disagree with the reviews I write. I don't mean for a review of mine to deter anyone from reading a particular book, nor do I want a review of mine to criticize someone for liking a book that I wasn't crazy about.
